As Thanksgiving and the start of the holiday season approaches, the Normal West Paw Print staff asked students and staff what they were thankful for and compiled their responses.  Here are some of the best!

“I’m thankful for senior year and it being almost halfway done,” Anna Bankston (12)

“I’m thankful for the upcoming 5 day break. I need it,” Michaela Stork (12)

“I’m thankful final exemptions for seniors! Finally a break when I don’t have to do a bunch of homework,” Ali Martin (12)

“I’m thankful for my friends who have come to my basketball games so far which I’m also thankful for,” Whitney Bozarth (12)

“Like always, I’m thankful for cats,” Melody Holland (12)

“I am thankful for swimming season,“ Connor Atkins (12)

“I am thankful for Black Friday Black Friday hours which lead to big paychecks,“ Lauren Brown (12)

“I’m thankful for my students, sunshine, and the democratic process which allows us to vote officials out of office when we are dissatisfied with our government,” Mr. Goeke
