Wildcats’ favorite classes and what they’re looking forward to

Normal West Wildcats share their thoughts on their favorite classes and what they’re looking forward to this upcoming school year.

Abby Berry, a senior at Normal West shared her thoughts: “I love my parenting class, I enjoy learning the proper ways to parent and I feel like it’s very important skills to learn. Of course I’m most excited for graduation, it’s been quite the years.”

“Business law hands down is my favorite class, it’s fun and interesting to learn about different laws and how those apply to businesses and other types of career areas, also Mr. P teaches it and he’s a fun teacher,” said Amanda Rodgers, a senior from Normal West. “I’m looking forward to the senior luncheon, that seems like so much fun.”

Mr. Bierbaum, a social studies teacher from Normal West, shared his opinions as well: “I love teaching psychology and AP psychology; it’s very interesting and I get to continue to learn more as I teach. I’m looking forward to learning the new schedule and getting in the swing of things.”

Manuel Valenzuela, a Normal West freshman, says “I’m love my biology class, we get to do a lot of cool labs and learn about cells and the human body. I’m most excited for swim and learning new things in my other classes.”

“AP Government is my favorite class this year, I’m very opinionated as well as everyone else in the class and there’s a lot going on in the government to learn about, and also Mrs. Freeman is a great teacher,” said Josh Springwood, a senior from Normal West. “I’m obviously most excited to graduate and the other activities that come with it.”
